THE 12 WEEK INTENSIVE
The twelve-week course will teach the fundamentals of the filmmaking process from concept through screening and all of the steps that go into making a film on HD. The course is designed to give the beginner filmmaker a better understanding of the process and craft of developing a project focusing on storytelling and content. The intensive will focus on four core elements: Writing for the Screen, Directing, Production and Post-Production. Classroom lectures feature hands-on camera work and behind-the-scenes at local production houses and editing facilities. Course will consist of classroom lectures followed by practical, hands-on instruction and shooting. Students will complete a short film on HD by the conclusion of the course.

EVENING PROGRAMS
The program curriculum will allow the full-time working individual the flexibility to participate in the course with minimal interruption from the daily routine. The course will require each participant to set aside five full days for the actual production of the final project.
This 12 Week course of study will include all of the fundamental elements found in our Five Week summer intensive and will take place in our location in lower Manhattan.
